Music has always been an important part of campus life at Redding Adventist Academy with many students electing to participate in choir, bells, band, and strings.

RAA's choir performs both sacred and secular music and is open to all students who desire to sing.  Emphasis is given to preparing music for numerous concerts throughout the year.  RAA choir members have twice performed at Carnegie Hall.

Each year choir students perform in a full-scale musical .  RAA has produced "Fiddler on the Roof,"  "My Fair Lady,"  "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," and adaptations of "The Pirates of Penzance,"  "Cinderella," and "A Court Jester."   The 2010 musical will be "The Prince of Egypt."  Over a six year period, students have raised more than $13,000 for the Good News Rescue Mission at the annual benefit performance.

The hand bell choir performs challenging sacred and secular hand bell literature at selected school and church programs.  The choir has performed at Mercy Hospital's Snowflake Ball and by invitation at Disneyland for six years.

The band welcomes individuals who demonstrate an ability to play with an ensemble.  The repertoire includes both sacred and secular music.
